  • Day 1: meet and greet

    On Arrival your guide/ Tuann safaris representative will be there waiting for you meet and greet. Depending on the time of arrival you might spend the afternoon at UWEC, home to captive animals and several species of birds.

    Then later proceed to your accommodation.

  • Day 2:Entebbe-Jinja

    After Breakfast drive to Jinja. On our way we pass through Mabira the biggest forest in Uganda heading to Jinja-the first industrial town of Uganda and named as the adventure town by most past travellers.

    On arrival to Jinja check-in to your accommodation plus lunch, after lunch we drive to see the source of the Nile and sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. The day ends back at the hotel for an overnight.

  • Day 3: Jinja Activities

    You will have an early breakfast and then drive to Nalubale rafting Offices ready for rafting.There is a briefing conducted by the Nalubale rafting staff before the final transfer to the river for rafting. Please note that lunch is provided by Nalubale Rafting.

    The day ends back at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 4: Jinja-Murchison via Nakasongola

    After Breakfast drive to Murchison Falls National Park. In Murchison Falls we visit the top of the falls if time allows.

    Murchison Falls is the largest protected and most beautiful national parks in Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a 7-meter narrow gorge and falls 60 meters. You are likely to see several bird species, elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards.

  • Day 5: Game drive at Murchison falls National Park

    Early morning game drives in this beautiful national park. Afternoon boat rides on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. The boat is the perfect platform to see and photograph many different bird species together with several animals likeelephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, water bucks and many more.

  • Day 6: Murchison falls National Park-Kibale Forest

    After breakfast we drive to Kibale Forest. You can make a walk around the lodge in the afternoon. During this walk it is possible to see monkeys and birds. It is also possible to make a night walk through the forest to see the animals of the night, like bush babies (both activities optional).

    Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! Including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey and L’Hoest monkey.

  • Day 7: Chimp tracking and Bigodi swamp walk

    You will have an early Breakfast and the drive to the park briefing point ready for chimpanzee tracking in either morning or in the afternoon depending on the permit availability. For people interested in primates and birds and willing to make another walk we can make a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well. It is also possible to visit the local people or the crater lakes.

  • Day 8: Kibale Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After Breakfast you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park well known for her climbing Lions in the Ishasha sector. On our way we pass the equator where we will make a stop.

    Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda that boasts with several Bird species, elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards.

  • Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After an early Breakfast you will leave for an early game drive where you are likely to spot Lions Hunting, Buffaloes, several Hippos, antelopes, reptiles and many more plus several early birds. The game drive may last for about 4-hours and after visit one of the salt mining lakes. After your lunch in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on the 40km Kazinga Channel where you are likely to take the best photos of most Animals including, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, several bird species like king fishers, eagles and many more.

    The Kazinga Channel is one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

  • Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable

    Early in the morning we will leave for an experience in the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve. Driving through a grassland area, all of a sudden we come across an amazing gorge of a hundred meters deep, covered with tropical rainforest. You will hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees. Later we will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head towards Bwindi. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

  • Day 11: Bwindi Impenetrable gorilla tracking

    The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. It is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike; it may take two to eight hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these giant apes.

  • Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable - Kampala

    We start the long but rewarding drive back to Kampala. On our way we will pass Mpigi village, famous for the Royal Drum Makers and of course the Ugandan Equator, where you can take pictures and shop for a souvenir. With lunch on our way we will reach Kampala at the end of the day.

  • Day 13: City wind up tour

    After breakfast you drive to Historical relics including the Kasubi tombs (burial grounds of ancient Buganda kings), the Uganda Martyrs Shrine where the Uganda martyrs were burnt due to their faith. After lunch you will experience a rash hour in Kampala capital of Uganda and mix up with the locals.

  • Day 14: Kampala – Entebbe

    Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of departure you will be driven to the airport for your flight back home.
